Introduction to Transition 101

- Passage from one place, condition or action to another. The definition of Transition, sound familiar to any of you.Maybe you basketball players feel comfortable when spoken to about transition. Hint: 2on1 transition, transition 3ball, transition offense, etc. Maybe the students here transition and think about the moves they made going to college, even in the corporate working field transition is used, to mainly express the path taking to get where your are or where your on your way to. I took the initiative to name my blog( ima first time blogger) "Transition" to express my path I'm taken to get where IAM and the path I'm on to get where IAM going. Life becomes very overwhelming at times. Decisions become more critical to make, some people become afraid of the TRANSITION. I too am a victim of the butterflies from making transitions or even the thought of making one. Honestly this is my first blog so I'm pretty weak right now, so gimme a break. But I just want to touch on it a little bit... PAUSE! I don't want to take y'all through the whole sha-bang but ill speak on the latest transition for me. Going from Boy to Man. It was tough accepting that things aren't forever, nothing last, one of those being my "boy days". I've done a lot of growing up in a short period of time due to certain situation. When I say growing I mean mentally more than anything. learning, understanding, using past incidents and obstacles as a cheat sheet for the future. That's the part that I feel has struck me the most. Seeing something happen and knowing it was going to happen because Ive been there seen it or did it before. It almost scary, but I just chalk it up as me being here on earth for twenty some odd years now and being able to recognize things. That cheat sheet has giving me the strength to make decisions and transitions in life, job, hoop, career, WOMEN! WOMEN! WOMEN! Lessons learned, life is a teacher u will be tested and I have my cheat sheet. I don't even know if ill be back for a second post, this definitely was a first, I guess I have to make the "transition" from a reader to a writer. -
